Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and apply food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while training others to become Kitchen Leaders. You will help maintain quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen, and model teamwork for the crew to deliver great customer experiences.

The role emphasizes following kitchen procedures, promoting a positive work environment, and contributing to overall restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies to cook and prep food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized kitchen; ensure equipment is in good condition.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
