Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food prep, grilling, and sautéing, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help ensure quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and promote teamwork to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include cooking to order, reducing waste, supervising both back-of-house and front-of-house teams, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures while cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving quality issues as needed.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained.
