Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, maintain quality and safety, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, stay on top of inventory, and promote a strong team dynamic to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring restaurant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to communicate effectively in the work locale language.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures; ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor food waste, inventory, and quality issues; keep kitchen clean and stocked.
• Lead and develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen equipment in good repair and maintain safety guidelines.
• Fill out MSDS and manage inventory rotation (FIFO).
