Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train others, supervise food prep, and ensure fast, delicious meals. You will lead a busy kitchen, order supplies, and coach Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll promote teamwork and deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality, inventory control, safety compliance, and strong communication with both Crew and customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and restaurant experience.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Ensure kitchen and crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
