Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order ingredients and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, while ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen, and promoting teamwork for an excellent customer experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you will model teamwork, supervise the station, and help Crew members meet goals.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensuring kitchen is clean, sanitized and well organized.
• Maintaining equipment in good repair and safe operation.
• Adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Filling out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
