Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You’ll ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and a great customer experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll stay busy with station goals, support both back-of-house and front-of-house teams, and help teammates learn and grow while delivering fast, delicious food.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food and grill meats to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and properly stocked.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired promptly.
• Maintain safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
