Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Kitchen Leader to learn and guide food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while promoting teamwork and a great customer experience. You will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen, and mentor Crew members to grow into leadership roles within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
