Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide Crew toward delivering consistent, high-quality meals. You will learn to prepare food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and efficient operation of the kitchen.

You will mentor Crew members, uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, and help drive excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes teamwork and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to lead and train Crew members.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies to ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
• Maintain equipment in good repair and report malfunctions quickly.
• Ensure safety guidelines are met to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as needed.
