Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure the kitchen upholds food quality, cleanliness, safety, and inventory while promoting teamwork to deliver a great guest experience. This hands-on role emphasizes leadership and on-the-job development of crew members.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prepare food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Understands food safety practices and inventory management.
• Demonstrates ability to lead and develop Crew members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order and uphold quality standards.
• Monitor inventory and waste; address quality issues promptly.
• Foster teamwork between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and functional.
• Adhere to safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and inventory rotation procedures.
