Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and safe, and you’ll model teamwork and a positive customer experience. You’ll collaborate with both back-of-house and front-of-house crews, ensure food quality and safety, and coach crew members to grow into leadership roles while maintaining efficiency and outstanding

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order while following kitchen procedures to ensure quality.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary at all times and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents in the kitchen.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO processes as part of inventory control.
