Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is looking for a Kitchen Leader to train in food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while ensuring high-quality, safe, and delicious food. You will supervise food ordering, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen that supports a positive customer experience.

You will lead by example on teamwork, drive efficiency, and ensure adherence to Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures to ensure food quality.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Address any equipment malfunctions quickly and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
