Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is looking for a Kitchen Leader to learn and lead food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, while upholding quality, safety, and a great customer experience.

The Kitchen Leader ensures the kitchen stays clean, organized, stocked, and properly maintained. You will inspire teamwork and drive throughput on busy shifts with Crew members and customers.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience required.
• Understand food safety and kitchen procedures.
• Ability to train and develop Crew to Kitchen Leader roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; resolve issues.
• Support the Kitchen team and promote teamwork.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers for service.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repairs are addressed promptly.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO inventory practices.
