Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring quality and safety. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader helps ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s food daily, keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked, and ensuring equipment is maintained. You will work as a role model, promoting teamwork and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; address issues promptly.
• Support and train Crew to develop into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Maintain safe operations and follow MSDS and FIFO guidelines.
