Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Aubrey, TX is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while maintaining quality and safety. You’ll order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and a top-notch customer experience.

You will guide a busy kitchen, ensure cleanliness, manage stock, and foster a culture of food safety and service excellence for guests at every visit.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma and restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; arrange quick repairs.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
