Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen while promoting teamwork and a positive customer experience.

In this role, you’ll supervise daily operations, mentor Crew, and maintain equipment and safety standards, contributing to a great guest experience and smooth restaurant performance.

• Ability to work as part of a busy kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure it is maintained and repaired quickly.
• Ensure safety guidelines are met to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory tasks.
