Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring consistent quality and safety. You’ll train Crew members and promote teamwork to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include keeping the kitchen clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards; overseeing equipment maintenance; and supporting Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and equipment is well maintained.
