Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables to ensure delicious, safe, and high-quality meals. You’ll order ingredients, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and uphold Chipotle's standards in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

As a Kitchen Leader, you will promote teamwork, maintain cleanliness and inventory, and support a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order, maintain kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory.
• Lead and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house staff.
• Respond quickly to equipment issues and safety concerns.
