Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll ensure quality, safety, cleanliness, organization, and stock, and model teamwork for a great customer experience. You will follow policies, monitor waste and inventory, and help create a fast, friendly service environment.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crew.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and stocked; maintain equipment in good repair.
• Ensure safety guidelines are met to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation as required.
