Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will order ingredients, train Crew, and help develop future Kitchen Leaders while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, maintain cleanliness and stocking, and foster teamwork to deliver a great customer experience. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order and follow kitchen procedures to ensure quality.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized; ensure equipment is maintained.
