Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform cooking, grilling, and sautéing while ensuring delicious, safe, and high-quality food. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, manage inventory, and uphold cleanliness and equipment maintenance.

You’ll model teamwork and drive a great customer experience. As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll help maintain food quality, supervise staff, and promote Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy in a fast-paced environment,

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Restaurant experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order while following kitchen procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; ensure food quality and safety.
• Support back-of-house and front-of-house teams to promote a strong team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and properly stocked; maintain equipment.
