Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn cooking and food prep, order supplies, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure quality and safety, keep the kitchen organized and stocked, and maintain equipment standards while modeling teamwork for a great customer experience.

You will lead by example on busy shifts, perform tasks to meet station goals, and help your team deliver delicious food and excellent service.”

Qualifications

• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure repairs are made quickly.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory documentation.
