Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Clemson, SC is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and train future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll help ensure delicious, safe food and keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked.

You’ll lead a dynamic back-of-house team, uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity, manage food quality, inventory, and equipment maintenance, and support a positive guest experience through teamwork and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure repairs when needed.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO documentation.
