Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure food quality and safety, maintain a clean and well-stocked kitchen, and promote teamwork to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Hold a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized.
