Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while promoting teamwork and a safe, clean kitchen. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and uphold Chipotle’s high standards for quality and service.

The role emphasizes keeping the kitchen stocked and compliant with safety guidelines, while delivering a great guest experience and supporting a fast, friendly operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to promote teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized and equipment is maintained.
• Prevent injuries by enforcing safety guidelines and MSDS procedures.
