Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Birmingham, AL. You will learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will uphold food quality, safety, inventory control, and a high standard of customer service.

You will guide Crew members, promote teamwork, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and cleanly, with a focus on delicious, consistent meals and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsabilités

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and waste, addressing quality issues promptly.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation and safety standards.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
