Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Moody, Alabama is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others. You’ll ensure food quality, safety, and a great guest experience, while keeping the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked.

You will lead back-of-house and front-of-house teams, mentor Crew members toward becoming future Kitchen Leaders, and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
