Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will oversee food quality, inventory, and safety while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering an excellent customer experience in a fast-paced setting. You will lead by example, ensure cleanliness and equipment maintenance, and actively contribute to a culture of great service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and fix issues quickly.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory sheets.
