Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will train others to become future Kitchen Leaders, ensure quality and safety, and maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen with properly functioning equipment.

The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering a great customer experience. Responsibilities include cooking to order, monitoring inventory, and promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members toward future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe, address malfunctions promptly.
• Comply with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
