Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will train crew, ensure quality and safety of delicious food, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and maintain equipment in good condition.

You’ll be a role model for crew members and help them become future Kitchen Leaders. You will promote teamwork, support operations, and contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience while staying on your feet

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant kitchen preferred.
• Ability to follow Chipotle procedures and policies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized; equipment maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Filling MSDS and FIFO paperwork.
