Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and execute food preparation, grill meats and sauté vegetables to ensure delicious, safe meals. You will also train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and stock levels.

You’ll promote teamwork, support a great customer experience, and help Crew grow through hands-on coaching and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Food safety standards and procedures must be understood.
• Ability to lead and train Crew members in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Experience working in a restaurant and delivering great guest service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats and sauté vegetables to order.
• Order food and train Crew to become Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and stock in the kitchen.
• Ensure safety, equipment maintenance and timely repairs.
• Promote teamwork and deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Monitor waste, inventory, and follow FIFO guidelines.
• Encourage Crew development and effective communication with customers.
