Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables while ensuring delicious, safe food. You’ll train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders and help maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen with proper equipment upkeep to support a strong team and great customer experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll promote teamwork, guide Crew members, and contribute to a fast-paced, guest-focused environment, delivering quality food

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventories, resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-maintained; ensure equipment is in good repair.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventories.
