Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to ensure delicious, high‑quality meals. You’ll order ingredients, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and maintain a clean, well‑stocked kitchen with properly working equipment.

You will promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews, mentor teammates, and communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure an outstanding dining experience.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.
• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and policies.

Responsibilities

• Learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables.
• Ensure food is delicious and prepared to order following kitchen procedures.
• Order food and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain clean, organized and well-stocked kitchen; keep equipment in good condition.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Mentor Crew members and develop them toward Kitchen Leader roles.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
