Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, safety, and stock levels, and model teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

You will lead by example, oversee the kitchen during shifts, and help Crew meet station goals, while promoting Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy and commitments to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Familiarity with food safety and kitchen procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order and maintain kitchen quality.
• Manage food inventory and waste; ensure accuracy of inventories.
• Train Crew to become Kitchen Leaders and supervise shift execution.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
