Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order supplies, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and ensure quality and safety of all food while maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen. Teamwork and customer experience are central to success.

You’ll lead a busy kitchen on the floor, drive station goals, and support Crew development while upholding Chipotle’s standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Retail/restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s philosophy.
• Strong teamwork and communication with crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues.
• Support back-of-house and front-of-house crews; train future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety, prevent injuries, and follow MSDS/ FIFO procedures.
