Job summary

Sur La Table in Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs, engage guests, and help run classes with a focus on safety and hospitality.

You will assist with mise en place, prep ingredients, and keep the kitchen organized while delivering a memorable, guest-obsessed experience. Part-time role, 12–16 hours/week, including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be 18+ and have a Food Handler Certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep/kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handler certification.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with class execution to drive enrollment and guest satisfaction.
• Represent Sur La Table brand and maintain a guest-obsessed culture on the floor and in the kitchen.
• Set up and breakdown classes, prep ingredients, and maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain inventory levels.
