Job summary

Sur La Table in Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs during classes, engage guests, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. A passion for cooking, hospitality, and teamwork is essential.

You will assist with mise en place, help run classes, and uphold a safe, sanitized kitchen while delivering a best-in-class guest experience. Flexible schedule; 12–16 hours per week, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and customer loyalty.
• Maintain product knowledge and training to stay current on offerings.
• Lead a guest-obsessed environment in both the kitchen and retail sales floor.
• Assist chefs with class execution and drive enrollment and positive guest feedback.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper sanitation of dishes and equipment.
