The ideal candidate brings a passion for cooking, hospitality and teamwork, with 1 year of retail sales and kitchen support preferred; must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs. This part-time role offers flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older at time of employment.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences for guests.
• Maintain product knowledge through training and independent resource seeking.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience by leading a guest-obsessed culture in kitchen and retail areas.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive repeat visits and positive feedback.
• Support class revenue goals through high enrollment and favorable guest reviews.
