Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Events Team Member to guide children through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts and crafts, and gym games, while weaving in nutrition education for ages 3 to 13.

You will lead groups up to 10, model a positive, safety-conscious attitude, and collaborate with staff to deliver engaging programs at our Dayton, OH location. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience or more.
• First Aid within first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games while maintaining a safe environment
• Leads a group of up to 10 children ages 3-13 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model
• Maintains courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers
• Maintains cleanliness and order of activities and programming to ensure safety
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the budget set by the department
