Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to greet customers, help with merchandise selection, and complete sales transactions. You will support store operations, stock shelves, and assist the Store Manager with daily tasks to keep the store inviting.

Responsibilities include guiding team members on procedures, handling customer inquiries, promoting add-on items, and ensuring accuracy of cash deposits. Part-time availability and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with merchandise selection and location, and complete sales transactions.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and store operations in absence of supervisors.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and support deliveries and replenishment.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and promote add-on items.
• Ensure accuracy of cash handling and POS deposits/receipts.
