Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning and stronger mentorship, sourcing guides who lead app-based core instruction with targeted reading sessions for K-3 students. This full-time role requires on-site presence at a campus, with relocation support and a focus on closing reading gaps through diagnostic, data-driven teaching.

Expect to guide students through morning launches, afternoon routines, and weekly app goals, while maintaining high daily targets.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in instructional settings.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training (e.g., LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS) or a master’s in reading/literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; teaching certificate is not required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and blocking gaps.
• Running targeted structured-literacy sessions with small groups.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Driving weekly app goals using school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, and reading interventions with a plan for each child.
