Job summary

Alpha School is seeking a Lower School Teacher to guide K–3 students through app-based core learning and targeted reading sessions. You will diagnose gaps, implement a 15-minute sequence, and track progress daily with parents.

The role is full-time, on-site at a Seattle campus, with relocation support and comprehensive benefits. Expect to spend ~70% of the day guiding students and ~30% on targeted reading interventions, coordinating with the team to maintain weekly reading goals and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Structured-literacy training or Master's in reading preferred.
• Teaching certificate not required.

Responsibilities

• Get every K-3 student to daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Lead targeted literacy sessions with small groups, diagnosing gaps and using designed sequences.
• Guide students through app-based learning, workshops, and campus routines for 70% of the day.
