Job summary

Alpha is recruiting a Youth Development Coach to guide K-3 students through app-based core learning, diagnose gaps, and implement targeted sequences. You will stay with students from launch to close, maintaining daily goals and data-informed instruction on campus.

The role requires hands-on literacy coaching, 3+ years with young children, and on-site work with relocation support; strong communication with parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.
• Completed structured-literacy training or master's in reading/l literacy.
• 3+ years working with children ages 4-9 in relevant settings.
• 2+ years teaching reading in grades K-3 within last 5 years.
• Willing to work on-site with relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Coach K-3 students through app-based core learning, diagnosing gaps and guiding practice.
• Lead short, structured-literacy sessions for small groups and monitor progress.
• Support morning launch, life-skills workshops, and campus routines.
• Help students reach weekly app goals using gamification and leaderboards.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing to address frustration with plan.
