Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site elementary guide role. You will coach six-year-olds through app-based core learning, diagnose reading gaps, and design brief sequences to close them.

You stay with each class from launch to closing, lead quick literacy sessions, and use gamified goals to motivate progress. Some staff advance into lead coaching roles as campuses grow nationwide.

Qualifications

• On-site elementary teaching focus
• Experience supporting reading development
• Ability to diagnose reading gaps and tailor interventions

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning: spotting stuck learners and guiding progress.
• Leading targeted literacy sessions with 2–4 students, diagnosing gaps from running records and fluency probes, and teaching designed sequences.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities to keep six-year-olds engaged.
• Driving weekly app goals with school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, closing, and reading interventions with proactive plans.
