Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, mentorship, and app-based core instruction. This is a full-time, on-site role guiding K-3 students, coaching through reading gaps, and driving weekly app goals.

You will stay with your students, run targeted literacy sessions, and monitor progress with data. A bachelor’s degree is required; structured-literacy training is preferred, relocation support may be available, and weekly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in educational settings.
• At least 2 years of experience teaching reading in K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree; teaching certificate not required.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning and diagnose gaps.
• Lead targeted structured-literacy sessions with small groups.
• Maintain data-driven progress checks and weekly reports.
• Guide morning launch, workshops, and classroom routines.
