Alpha is hiring guides to coach K-3 students through app-based core learning on-site, five days a week at a campus. You will diagnose decoding gaps, run short structured sessions, and guide each child toward targeted reading goals.

You stay with your students through lunch and recess, track weekly progress with data, and use small group sequences you designed to move learning forward. This is a full-time, W2 role with relocation support and opportunities to grow into leadership.

Qualifications

• On-site role with relocation support.
• At least 3 years direct work with children ages 4-9 (teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs).
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within last 5 years.
• Structured-literacy training required (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, RGR) or master’s in reading/literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree; teaching certificate not required.
• 90% time guiding students through app-based learning, 10% on reading sessions.
• Willing to work with all K-3 students, not only struggling readers.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Coaching students through app-based core learning: spot gaps, ask the unblock question, maintain daily goals.
• Lead short, structured-literacy sessions for 2–4 students; diagnose gaps and teach a sequence you designed.
• Manage morning launch, life-skills workshops, check-chart activities for six-year-olds.
• Drive weekly app goals using school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a plan for frustrated children.
