Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Student Success Coach to guide K–3 students through app-based literacy activities, diagnose decoding gaps, and lead short sessions for small groups. You will stay with students throughout daily routines and celebrate progress with data-driven checks.

The role emphasizes diagnostic planning, close collaboration with families, and relocation support for campus assignments across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9: teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, etc.
• At least 2 years coaching students on reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.

Responsibilities

• Get every K-3 student to daily learning goals and close reading gaps.
• Lead short, structured-literacy sessions for 2–4 students with targeted sequence.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing, addressing frustration with action plans.
