Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a ChanceLight division, is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in Grades K-12. You will assist with implementing IEPs, provide personalized supervision, and collaborate with teachers to foster a positive, student-centered learning environment in both classroom and community settings.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized instruction, monitoring progress, maintaining records, and contributing to school-wide assurance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in education or related field.
• Hold or pursue paraprofessional/teaching assistant credential preferred.
• CA driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with special education or behavioral health settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to cultivate a supportive, high‑achieving learning environment.
• Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral interventions on-site and in community settings.
• Instruct and monitor students during lessons, ensuring instructional fidelity.
• Track progress and communicate with teachers on student goals and needs.
• Assist with documentation, behavioral reports, and activity logs.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and participate in accreditation activities.
