Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in grades K-12 within a Special Education program. You will assist with implementing IEP goals, provide personalized supervision, and collaborate with classroom staff to promote safe, inclusive learning.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and may pursue an associate degree in education. The role requires patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic in a student-centered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain CA driver’s license and crisis management training certification.
• Experience with special education or behavioral health settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and behavior interventions aligned to IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with staff on outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and assist with documentation and reporting.

Education
