Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in Grades K-12 within our Special Education team. You will provide personalized supervision and guidance in classroom and community settings, aligned with each student’s IEP.

Collaborate with educators to tailor instruction, monitor progress, and reinforce skills. The role emphasizes confidentiality, patience, and a student-centered, outcome-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, basic skills test passed.
• Associate degree or higher in education preferred.
• Valid CA drivers license required or ability to obtain.
• Experience supporting children in special education or behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to implement IEPs and tailor instruction.
• Instruct and monitor students during lessons and activities.
• Track progress and communicate with teachers about outcomes.
• Manage student behavior with consistent strategies.
• Support development of academic, social, and life skills.
