Job summary

Five-Star-Technology-Solutions in Indiana is seeking an on-site IT support professional to assist North Putnam CSD and staff. The role focuses on rapid issue resolution, device deployment, imaging, and hands-on maintenance for classroom technology.

The candidate must communicate clearly, handle tickets efficiently, and collaborate with leadership to ensure timely updates and successful resolutions in a K-12 setting.

Qualifications

Experience providing onsite IT support in a school or K-12 setting.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills in high-visibility environments.
Onsite support experience with student, teacher and administrator users.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier I onsite technical support for staff and students.
Schedule and perform device deployment at start of school year and collection at end of year.
Image computers and install software; maintain hardware inventory.
Troubleshoot and repair devices including iPads, MacBooks, Chromebooks, Windows laptops/desktops, interactive whiteboards.
Document troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system and escalate when needed.
Collaborate with Onsite Services Leadership and Client Experience teams; communicate status to school personnel.
Attend weekly meetings and company learning events to share updates and best practices.
